The Seneca-Iroquois National Museum features exhibits focusing on Native American history and culture in Western New York. New and permanent exhibits on display that offer a unique glimpse into the rich culture and heritage of the past and present Seneca people. The traditions and dreams of our ancestors are written into the hearts of our people. We are motivated by our connectedness to our communities. The earth is our lifeline, and the river sustains us.
The Museum Gift Shop offers a wide variety of educational materials both written and audio, and an assortment of traditional Native created items. These include, Iroquois-style “raised” beadwork, silver work, baskets, corn husk items, carvings, jewelry, pottery and sculptures.

Situated amidst the Enchanted Mountains of Western New York and just a short 20-minute drive from Seneca Allegany Resort & Casino is Ellicottville, a year-round tourist destination. During the winter the HoliMont Ski Area and Holiday Valley Resort are open for business, and in the summer, the resort supplies the town with a number of recreational opportunities, such as golfing and mountain biking.
Ellicottville hosts a number of celebrations and festivals throughout the year, including a rodeo, a summer arts festival and a Mardi Gras Carnival. While visiting Ellicottville, guests can embark on a number of outdoor activities, such as trail riding and hot air ballooning.
Frequented by locals and visitors alike, Griffis Sculpture Park offers self-guided tours of its grounds, which contain more than 200 art sculptures. About 13 mi (20km) down the road from Ellicottville is Allegany State Park, which spans the New York-Pennsylvania state line and allows camping, hunting, fishing and horseback riding.

With over 65,000 acres, Allegany State Park is the largest state park in New York State and has an abundance of natural beauty, from forests and hills, to lakes and wildlife. The park is open year-round with a multitude of outdoor activities for every season and every taste.
In the warmer months, take advantage of boat and bike rentals, go camping, fishing, hunting, or enjoy a sandy beach for swimming. Or play a game of softball, tennis, horseshoes or even volleyball. The park offers 18 hiking trails, three of which have been developed as self-guided nature trails, and 5.6 miles of paved trails, which includes 3.1 miles around Red House Lake.
One of the most spectacular places to see autumn at its best is Allegany State Park. Drive, hike, bike or horseback ride through the park on its many roads or trails and take in all the sights.
In the colder months, you can enjoy ice fishing, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing or snowmobiling.

Tucked away in the southwest corner of Cattaraugus County, hidden in the rolling hills of the Allegheny’s, Onoville Marina is one of the region’s best kept secrets. Salamanca Rail Museum
Step Into the Past…and experience the Salamanca Rail Museum: a fully restored passenger depot constructed in 1912 by the Buffalo, Rochester and Pittsburgh Railway. Through artifacts, photographs and video presentations, you’ll experience an era over 90 years ago, when rail was the primary means of transportation from city to city. The museum exhibits show nostalgic railroad pieces with an emphasis on the three railroads that served the region; the Erie, the Baltimore and Ohio (BR&P), and the Pennsylvania Railroads. Pumpkinville is a 200-acre farm nestled in the hills of Western New York near Ellicottville and owned by the Pawlowski family. Pumpkinville enjoys the claim of being the oldest original pumpkin farm in New York State. In fact, research shows it might be the oldest continuously operated pumpkin farm in the United States.
The Pumpkinville fall village, cider mill and entertainment portion spans 25 acres and includes the corn maze and Pick Your Own Pumpkin Patch. The pumpkins, squash, gourds and Indian corn and other fall items are grown here on the farm especially for our visitors.

Concord Crest Golf Club
Concord Crest Golf Course is located just a short drive from the Seneca Allegany Resort & Casino, just three miles east of the Genesee Rd. exit on 219. The primary architect for Concord Crest Golf Course was Mother Nature herself, as the layout takes full advantage of wetlands, creeks, ponds, and a stand of old trees. Mature sugar maples that once were harvested for maple syrup, give this venue the feel of a well-cared-for course. The rolling hillside and meandering streams dominate the scenery in this pastoral setting. The New York State Bluebird Society has chosen the course to be part of the statewide “Bluebird Trail.” Errant golf shots end up in wetlands, not backyards, as there are few homes and no condominiums to disrupt the view surrounding the course.
